It’s been a busy week at Branch this week, as we’ve been exhibiting at the @rise4disability  Rise4Disability –Rise South East specialising in Housing adaption at the Kent Event Centre.

The event covers all ranges of disabilities and abilities with over 100 exhibitors showcasing products and expert advice to the industry’s target audience.

Exhibiting on our stand, we got to meet so many like minded people, which is always such a pleasure.  With this event being an important date in the diary for many OT’s, it was great to network with them, people from other resources and equipment companies that make life easier for disabled people and most of all those who experience challenges on a daily basis and how they overcome those.

Although we deal with housing challenges on a daily basis, it was so evident how many people have a huge, daily struggle with them or their families housing. The feedback was great,  a lot of people we spoke to said that they were ‘pleased someone is fighting their corner’

We were also really proud to speak at the Housing & Adaption conference on their timetable of experts in housing. We talked about our work at Branch Properties presenting on ‘The challenges with finding and providing accessible properties’ alongside discussions from the NLA (National Landlord Association) on adapting the private rented sector for accessibility, Peabody and many others.

A great event and conference enabling everyone to have frank and much needed discussions whilst, increasing knowledge in our shared passion and commitment.
