We are delighted that we have received fantastic news today!! After many months of searching, we have just completed on our clients new property which is going to change her life.
We were contacted back in March by a firm of Solicitors we work with about a client they had been appointed as deputy for in a personal injury settlement case as the client needed to move on from full time education, into independent living with care.
We were instructed to search for a wheelchair accessible bungalow, capable of alteration and extension to allow for the client’s requirement and needs. We began our searches in their three preferred chosen areas, close to family and friends and shops (Being a young lady, this was high on her list of requirements…)
We searched for a three bedroom bungalow with two receptions, two bathrooms and room to extend. It also needed to be spacious with generous circulation area, on a reasonably ground level close to shops and amenities, and level access for a vehicle to get near to the front door easily. Requirements also stated there needed to be a large garden, garage, two fire door exits and entrances that would allow for a ramp
After months of searching on line, talking to agents, providing detailed reports, checking out areas and amenities, going for viewings with the clients and occupational therapists we found the perfect bungalow, in the right location.
Once the deputies visited and agreed they deemed the property suitable, architects came to the property, to go through the potential adaptions required and how feasible they would be. The architects approved the property would work well for our client’s requirements.
We negotiated the best deal with the agents, liaising with the solicitors, clients and agents, to make the sale of the property as seamless and stress free as possible.
So we are all delighted, no one more so than our client, that the property completed today and the keys are ready to be handed over. She will be starting a new and exciting chapter in her life in her own new home and being a young lady with her life ahead of her, being independent is what she has been dreaming of for a long time…
