Whilst our doors are closed – We are still here to help and support…

As we continue to navigate the national crisis we find ourselves in, adjusting to a new way of life, work and schooling we continue to listen to the latest advice and ensure we all stay safe.

The last week or so has seen huge change in the way we all go about our daily lives. Our priority remains keeping our people and family safe, following Government guidance to stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives.

We are working through all the options, desperately keen to find a way of supporting those who need our help at this time, whilst ensuring we keep our team and business safe.

We need to be safe in our homes now more than ever- Moving is now on hold, as everyone has been advised to stay put and all movers have been asked to stand down now too, so that will be the reality for this period.

However, should you have any enquiries, we have a skeleton team available who are working from home and who can take your call or reply to your email.

As property agents are ‘not an essential service’ we must close our branches. Obviously, we have now stopped all physical viewings and replaced them with video viewings where possible. Video viewings will either take the form of pre-recorded videos being sent to you or by arranging a live viewing with the seller or landlord.

Virtual Property Appraisals

Even without stepping inside your property, we can still give you a very accurate idea of how much your property could be rented for. There are three options for you to choose from:

Recorded walk-through – send us a video of your property for us to evaluate

Telephone appraisal – set up a telephone appointment with us to talk about your property in detail

Desktop appraisal – provide us with basic details and we can give you an estimated price range

If you are unclear about how the current situation is affecting your property search or rental, we are on hand to give you clear advice and to keep you updated on the situation as it changes. If you would like to speak us, we are all available to speak to you over the telephone, via video calls or over email. If you can’t do that, call us on 020 3475 4022

It may surprise you…

…to know that there are still have huge numbers of people viewing properties online and contacting us for details of accessible housing.

Although it is a difficult time for everyone and ‘normal’ almost feels like a distant memory, this lock-down will finish and things will return to relative normality. With this in mind, why not use this time as an opportunity to think about your next move and take the time to list everything you need in great details? Your requirements, needs and desires in a property.

We are anticipating and preparing for a bounce once restrictions are lifted and those people that are prepared are likely to be in a good position to benefit.

We are all in this together and it is at times like this when we come into our own and the sense of community spirit and individual acts of kindness can be touching and even overwhelming. There is almost always someone less fortunate than ourselves out there so I’m encouraging everyone to think about how they can make someone’s day: contacting someone who is living alone; making daily calls to loved ones; seeing if they can help a neighbour with shopping; and making donations to charities that are helping those hardest hit by this crisis.

These days, there are so many different ways to stay connected with those we care about… Let’s do that – keep in touch…

But more important than anything else, please stay safe.

Do you like us? And we mean, like like us?  Oh go on… if you haven’t liked or followed us yet, please do
