Our accessible bathroom design project has come to an end creating a beautiful accessible bathroom and supplying innovative bathroom products for our client. We have project managed the wet room installation step by step, with our client’s exact and personal requirements being catered for in a stunning design.
Our client came to us to initially assist him with finding a property that would work for him and his accessibility requirements. We found him a great chalet bungalow which was perfect in area, size and style. However, the property needed lots of adaptions, starting with the bathroom which was not accessible at all. The idea was to knock the bathroom out entirely and then convert the storage room next to the bathroom to a wet room and increase space. (The original layout below)
Our client is a young man who takes great pride in his home and design. ‘In fact, we were very lucky to be working with him as has just completed his Masters in Architecture and he supplied us with his own concept designs, which were as you can see stunning!! He said at the beginning of the project ‘I want friends to come round and say what an amazing bathroom with no mention of accessibility’ and he certainly hit the nail on the head with that.
We were taken on to project manage the adaptions and began to source contacts in the wet room design capacity. We were looking for a company that would design a bathroom to be proud of, not something like you will find in the hospital…
We soon whittled it down to three companies with Motion Spot, specialists in accessible bathroom design winning the commission. We are sure you will agree, it looks great!?
